Brightree LLC, a leading provider of cloud-based software, and Strategic Healthcare Programs (SHP), a leading provider of data analytics and benchmarking to post-acute care providers, have released Integrated Alerting to further enhance the existing interface between two companies. Now Brightree’s customers who use SHP’s OASIS scrubbing software can have their OASIS assessments sent to SHP for immediate feedback at the click of a button. The corrections can be made without leaving the Brightree software. This integrated process significantly increases the efficiency of assessment reviews and improves documentation accuracy.
A more seamless transfer of data between Brightree and SHP will allow home health agencies to accelerate their reaction to challenging areas. Reviewing real-time, up to date reports helps with compliance, allows providers to identify patients at risk of rehospitalization, flags individuals appropriate for hospice care, and many other data variables critical in managing a high-quality agency.
“With new regulations requiring our customers to complete and submit their OASIS in a given timeframe, it's more important than ever to cut down time spent on reviewing these documents. With the incorporation of SHP alerts into the Brightree system, we are helping our customers do just that”, said Matt Mellott, CEO of Brightree.
“SHP provides alerts and reports that help our customers achieve better outcomes and improve their business operations. By expanding our partnership and capabilities with SHP, we are able to provide a more robust integration ensuring that allow the organizations to more proactively care for their patients”, said Brightree’s Director of Product Management, Jonathan Skypek.
“One of the biggest challenges that Home Health agencies face is ensuring accuracy, efficiency and accountability among their staff. Integrated Alerting allows clinicians and OASIS review staff to identify issues in real-time, which helps ensure that corrections are made in a timely manner and maximizes quality and financial outcomes”, said SHP’s VP of Client Services, Zeb Clayton.
