Congratulations to every team that earned an AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award in 2026.

The program handed out 1,169 awards this year. Each one took a facility full of people who showed up for residents day after day, and then put their work through a rigorous review. That deserves a loud, public thank-you.

We want to single out our own. 209 SHP clients earned a Quality Award in 2026. That's more than a third of every award our clients have won since 2004, and it came in a single year.

Here's how it breaks down.

Bronze: Commitment to Quality

Bronze is the first step, and our clients took it in force. 171 SHP clients earned Bronze this year, which is nearly 1 in 5 of the 908 Bronze awards given nationally.

The trend line tells the story better. Our clients earned 64 Bronze awards in 2023. They earned 114 in 2025. This year's 171 is a 50% jump in twelve months.

Silver: Achievement in Quality

Silver asks a facility to prove it can sustain improvement, and 38 SHP clients did. That's up from 29 last year and 15 in 2023. Put those years side by side and the number has more than doubled.

SHP clients account for roughly 15% of the 259 Silver awards given across the country this year.

Gold: Excellence in Quality

Gold is Prestigious. Only 60 have been awarded in the program's history, and just 2 went out this year. To the two 2026 Gold winners: you reached a level that is rare and exemplifies true Quality.

SHP clients have a long record here. 14 of those 60 Gold awards, or 23%, belong to our clients. Our first came in 2012. In 2025, all three Gold awards in the country went to SHP clients.

The bigger picture

In 2020, 13 SHP clients earned a Quality Award. This year, 209 did. That's 16 times as many in six years.

We can't claim credit for that. The facilities earned every medallion. What we can say is that we're proud to be the data partner behind teams who treat quality as a daily habit, and who keep raising the bar for each other.
